I think there are more people like him out there who think they wont get caught, what they dont know is that anyone that gets hit usally will be ready to spend what it takes to track them down using law enforcement and private industry.

I personally tracked down many people who scammed and hurt people in the adult industry and collected over $500K, there is not a single scammer out there that I was asked to track down in that I couldn't. They all think the same way "we will never get caught" but the look on their face when authorities or private industry knocks on their door is priceless.

The adult industry is a legitimate industry just like any other industry, we are not drug dealers who are scared to get help from law enforcement, we are hard working people just like any other business.

Help you so you can use words like 'porn site operators' 'smut peddlers' 'porn mongers' etc etc.

in today's era of digital extortion, i'm sure these events are prevalent in any industry and not just the adult business. a common misconception about our industry, however, is that we are disorganized and stupid. we pay taxes and operate within the law like any other business would.

not only that, but most of us are also geeks at heart with not only the resources but the know-how to investigate incidents like this ourselves and deal with them accordingly.

I spoke with Deepsy several times, and it's unfortunate that he felt like there was nothing else he could do with his intelligence. I told him as much, and although grateful, he didn't change his ways. He deserves to be punished for what he did to people, and hopefully when he's done his time, he can clean up his act and realize that legit is the only way to go.
