Colored contact lenses

Anybody ever get em? Also I am contact lens newbie so how hard is it to stick that in your eye and take it out everynight?

HEARTBREAKER 09-11-2003 08:46 PM

always remember: before sticking it in your eyes, wash your hands first to avoid infection!:thumbsup

Contacts are awesome. I used to have colored blue ones but then I got lasak so I did not need them anymore. They are pretty easy to put in, it is weird at first but you get used to it pretty quickly. Hope that helps.

as long as you get soft ones. it will be easy after maybe week or two. hard lens are the ones that are a bitch to wear

Stud Money 09-11-2003 08:53 PM

Contacts are the dogs bollocks :thumbsup

Takes a few days tog et used to them but once ya get the hang on if you can get em in and out in less than 30 seconds.

Just make sure you dont get any cum in your eye - apart from it stinging like a mother fucker it makes your contacts go funny :(

Contact lenses are easy. Just always wash your hands very well whenever you handle them. Acuvue 2's by Johnson & Johnson are the ones I wear and you can't even feel anything in your eye.

I take mine out once each week and disinfect them. Most are recommended for 2 weeks useage, but if you disinfect them they'll stay comfortable for a week or two more typically.

My ex-wife got a serious eye infection with hers from handling them after doing her makeup and not washing her hands first and keeping them in past the recommended period. She was hospitalized for a week with psuedomoneous and got a permenant corneal scar from it, which left her with slightly blurred vision in that eye. So you do need to be careful. Bacteria can get on them and do serious damage if you are not careful.

A lot of people say take them out every night, but in my opinion and I've been wearing these for over 20 years, the more you handle them the greater the likelihood you'll get an infection accidently. I've found, at least for me, the once a week rinse works sufficiently.

My wife wants me to get bright green contacts. I have hazel eyes now. I used to have a pair that I wore for Halloween that were hypnotic spirals. They were kinda cool. I need to get a new pair for Halloween and parties, they only last about 3 years.

I can't wear contacts. I have them...just can't do it. I'm a sensitive guy, and my eyeballs are too.

Rictor 09-11-2003 09:03 PM

I take my contacts out every night before bed. They are 2-week disposables. If I don't take them out then I wake up with bloodshot dried out eyes. My eyes start to dry up about an hour or two before bed for some reason...sometimes I take them out early if they are bothering me. Drops don't seem to help much.

Just make sure you get them from a Dr and not a dollar type store. Some local places were selling 'generic' ones and they caused all sorts of grief for the teenagers that were buying them.

Even if it works for you, honestly, I wouldn't do that. It's best to rest your eyes at least 3 times a week by taking them out in evening and wearing your glasses. It's also not suggested to sleep with them, even though you can (2 week disposables then become 1 week disposables if you sleep with them on). I don't see why you'd sleep with them in anyway.. I mean, not like you need them to see clearly in your dreams. ;)

For me, I've been using Acuvue 2's and Acuvue 2 Colors for 3 years now and I love them. I wear them daily but take them out when I'm at home and don't plan on leaving again (ie: late in the evening/night). I don't sleep in them so they last 2 weeks for me.

In regards to the 2 week deal.. if you forget when the 2 weeks are up, remember, when in doubt, throw them out.

And like everyone said, wash your hands before poking around in your eyes.

My husband has hazel eyes too, I think hazel eyes are very nice, unique color, no need for fake contact color,

do what i do... leave them in for a couple of months till you wake up one morning with a red ass eye. that's the sign that it's time to put a new pair in!

kaylacam 09-11-2003 11:54 PM

I managed an optometry clinic for the AF...they are WAY easy to get in and out of your eyes. Be sure not to let the lenses touch your eyelashes...number 1 cause of infecting the lenses

Here ya go http://www.blueblood.net/gallery/contactgall01/

Generally, the more extreme and theatrical the lenses, the harder it is to see while wearing and the shorter time it is good for your eyes to wear them. Also, make sure you do not remove them in a really brightly lit bathroom at the end of a night of carousing in them, as your pupils may dilate kind of a lot from wearing them.

Also, please post pix of you wearing them.

Yeah, that would be me :) I assumed you knew.

I'm not actually totally off-base when I talk about having pioneered a lot of this gothic erotica thang. I sure as hell didn't invent being gothic, but Blue Blood in print really did pave the way for the whole alterna erotica explosion online. One of the primary motivaters for launching Gothic Sluts was that people kept scanning stuff out of Blue Blood and putting it on pay sites and avs sites without credit.

I love those total black out contacts that get the white of the eye too. They are a bitch to wear for a long time, but I just really like what they look like.

Of course, once you got that confirmed, I guess your next comment might have been I hate http://www.blueblood.net and all the rotten punks involved. :1orglaugh
