PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania (AP) -- Tommy Chong, who played one half of the dope-smoking duo in the Cheech and Chong movies, asked for leniency from a judge Thursday but was sentenced to nine months in prison for conspiring to sell drug paraphernalia.

Damn I am glad we spent billions of dollars towards the "war on drugs" so that we could get these evil 65 year old actors off the streets. I mean, he was selling glass pipes, for god's sake. The horror of it is inconceivable. It brings chills to my spine thinking that this crazed bongmaker was loose and walking amongst our children. Could you imagine if a poor 8 year old child would have had contact with a glass pipe? They would have been scared for life.

I am glad to see that some sort of justice was served to all those poor people abused by the glass pipe makers of the world. The least we should do is burn him at the stake.

no, there are 2 or 3 stores in my small town alone that sell bongs
all i know is you have to call them WATER PIPES. they have a policy if you say bong you have to leave

They sell them here in Arizona.. but you CANNOT call them Bongs or they will not sell them to you.. you must call them water pipes.
