I wish that people wouldn't leave there TGP1 galleries up with a huge number of photos. How about after a month or so cutting them down to five photos?

made 3-4 galleries, submitted them to all tgp2s, no sales yet :|

But I've heard many people who were very sucessfull with tgp2

Here's the deal. Make a bunch of regular TGP galleries, submit them to all your favourite big-hitters until you get listed, leave them up for a month and then cut them down to 5 pics/gallery. Then make another bunch of galleries and try submitting them again to the same sites, see if it works. :winkwink:

He asked why people don't change galleries after a while, by cutting down the number of pics to 5 or so. I'm telling him what to do in order to find out for himself why. :winkwink:

BTW any comments on my nasty looking tgp2? i forgot to show you the other day.

A few things.

#1 You need to tone down that yellow background, it's kinda sharp. Try putting up a slightly more neutral background, something that will not be a strain on your visitors' eyes.

#2 "FREE PORN"?!?! Are you trying to sell them something, or do you want to try jerk them off, while you're at it? Keep in mind that it's not if they can get it for free or not, it's if they THINK they can get it for free that matters the most. What you want to do is avoid any kind of price label (free or otherwise) in all your sales pitches. You're not selling them the price, you're selling them porn. So keep their minds on the porn, once they're interested price won't be that much of an issue. :winkwink:

#3 Ads! Put up a few ads. Don't clutter the page, but you want ads in there. TGP2 is not as much a bookmarker magnet as TGP is, therefore you will not lose a lot of them by actually trying to sell them something.

#4 Hosted galleries are kind of counter productive when it comes to TGP2, for several reasons. First, they will not be a bandwidth leech, the way a TGP gallery is. Second, most sponsors will just cut down their regular galleries to 5 pics and push'em as TGP2 galleries. They will not take advantage of all the lenient advertising rules that TGP2 has. You will not have big pics on HTML, thus losing an extra 5-10 ad spots. Third, if you host the galleries yourself you will eventually have the pleasure of having them indexed by a search engine or two. Which will translate into a stray signup here and there, over time.
