how do you restrict download size per day?

Hi,
I have seen some webmaster using some kind of software to limit file download volume per day. Where can I buy software like this to calculate file download volume for each members with Linux server?? Thanks.

Hey. I have a question now. IT seems pennywise and proxypass are script based protection while investment guard is an improved apache auth module. For investment guard, if I upgrade my apache will I need to install the module again? And does it support apache 2 platform??

I don't use investment guard. But I believe you can download a small script from his site that will tell you if it will run on your server.

I just ran it on one of mine, and voila, it will work.

I will be using his script soon. I don't need it at this time, but will eventually. I haven't seen one like his yet. And I have been using these scripts for years...I still have the original pennywize you could buy sitting on a zip disk. :)
