What people sell on ebay..
 

I can't believe it, just browsing through it and people are selling Purple Hearts and military medals. I don't understand how people could do that? What good do Military medals have to anybody else. I have my fathers Purple Heart and Certificate and couldn't think of selling that, even though it's not mine.

Can't believe people would sell stuff like that. And some might have been given by their fathers, like me. Because the have WWI medals.

A lot of that sort of thing comes from estate sales I imagine. We used to go to those all the time and they would box up absolutely everything in a house and sell it off. Kids (if there are any, who live out of state etc don't want to deal with it) I guess military medals are a big collectable market.

i have 14 medals, and many more certificates

after you leave the service, they dont mean shit
they dont get you a job, or a home, or a discount at mcdonalds

I wont sell mine, i figure my son may want them someday, but otherwise they are worthless

My (s)mother has my medals...along with plaques for various awards. They make her a lot more proud of me than my website does! LOL

I am always icked out by people selling used shoes on eBay. "Hardly worn" ?! Your FOOT was in it! Smelly and icky and possibly athlete's feety!
