I'm kind of curious about some people doing toon logo's lately. I rarely see them producing much new, and this is not accusatory of anyone specifically.
But it seems to me that many of them seem to have portfolio's full of toons that I, as a lifetime cartoonist, have seen in "How to Draw" books, even characters mildly adapted from comics and books I've seen around. Additionally they always seemt to have a set of predrawn logos that have been poorly scanned from their sketchbook and used over and over again...and I'm even pretty sure that in some cases they sell the same character to multple clients just in different context's...
I dunno what my point is, just that its quite pointy.
