Hiring Part Time Sysadmin
 

Hello,

We are seeking a part time (20-30 hrs/week) UNIX system administrator.

Will need extensive freeBSD experience with an emphasis on DNS/sendmail, apache, mod-SSL, system security, and network maintenance. Basic knowledge of perl/php/cgi preferred (for maintenance of existing software) We have multiple servers all running FreeBSD that we need taken care of on a daily basis. Pay will be weekly. Just a quick bump for anyone interested.

My husband could do it, but right now we can't relocate. So I'll donate a friendly bump to the cause.

Not sure if I specified but so there is no confusion this can be a remote job, but the hours will be during the day, somewhat flexible.

If someone is in the NY/NJ area and can come into the office that's a definite plus, of course.

"part-time" fire extinguisher...

basically what that means is that they pay you part time, but expect you to always be there to fix the problems.

also, you get to maintain code you didnt write...

well, thats the life of 95% of all the free lance sys admins out there...and there are quite a few of them

I know just a man you need, but you won't be interested, cuz he is here in Europe. But just out of curiosity whats the pay? For a foreign guy.
