Just hired a young programmer.
 

Yesterday we had hired our first junior programmer and he is telling me that regular training is boring him to death, and so far hes made it look extremely easy. So here I am posting this, You guys got any grunt programming work you need done?

We will be monitoring him for quality assurance and the price on his head is only 10$ usd an hour.

Try to keep it relatively simple for his sake. Thanks

I hired a 14 year old programmer once. 6 weeks and a Paypal complaint later... all I ended up with, was a non-working source code and he told me to compile it in VB myself. :1orglaugh

hes 20, We will be monitoring him to make sure that his work is
of quality. In other words, we will be making sure that anything you ask him for, will be delivered working.

im sure there are alot of guys that would do side work in php for 10 bucks an hour, if they can contract a job that say takes 10 hours then do it in 3, hell thats not a bad job real fast

well, he will do dishes lawns, dog walkings and also clean windows, but you need to pay him in beer for that. and no his isn't from india, he just wants to prove himself, since he is our new guy.

10 usd an hour for mysql/php isn't really that much.

Well, guess I shouldn't be too surprised. I've seen corporate graphics position that pay $8 an hour.

I've seen less than 8, I've seen corporate graphics guys make minimum wage, sucks for them and I've got no idea why they would put up with it

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
