Porn Suspect Agrees To Be Extradited To N.Y.

A man agreed Monday to be sent from Fort Lauderdale to New York to face a federal charge that he capitalized on spelling mistakes and typos to lure children to pornographic Web sites.

John Zuccarini is the first person to be charged under federal Amber Alert legislation that makes it a crime to use misleading Internet addresses to target children.

Zuccarini, 53, was arrested Wednesday after his e-mail was tracked to a telephone at an oceanfront hotel in Hollywood where he had been living for several months. He is being held without bail.

Federal prosecutors in New York say he registered thousands of Internet domain names and was earning up to $1 million a year, mainly from pay-per-hit deals.
