Doug Gilmour announced his retirement from the NHL.

I personally think he was one of the best to put on a Leafs jersey. He will be missed from the game.

I'm not surprised, when he got injured last year I knew he was done.

He'd been talking about hanging 'em up from the time he was in Buffalo. I'm glad he stuck it out a bit longer though.

Just too bad he couldn't get one last full season in with Toronto before retiring.
