Stolen 727 ?
 

Just read another thread which someone closed with the news that a 727 was stolen in Africa that the FBI is trying to find now.

That is some serious fucking news. Why was the thread closed??

The worst part is that the FBI said on that WANTED page, that the particular plane stolen was built for transporting fuel.

it was stolen a couple of months ago.....

Its kind of hard to fly and then hide a 727 isn't it? I mean you'd think it'd get tracked on military aviation radars somewhere.

The FBI, CIA, State Department, US diplomats, the African authorities, the plane owner, the missing man's family, everyone that took interest in, or was affected directly or indirectly by September 11, just about everyone that clicked on this thread...

More than 3000 people just died in a terrorist attack, two planes flew into two buildings, one into the Pentagon, and one into a field. But hey, who cares comes to mind. Oh wait, it was that kind of attitude that got you into that predicament in the first place. Nevermind.

Ah, I'd be a bit concerned about a missing 727 designed to carry gasoline stolen recently just ahead of 9/11.

First off what are you going to do with a stolen plane that big? Take it to a pawn shop? The only other thing I could think of if they have chop shops for airplanes, maybe for its parts. But that would be kind of hard to hide also since airplane parts are all coded and easy to trace.

i had heard awhile ago that the plane was found...and i had heard that it was repoed' because the country that had it was not making payments believe it or not...

Actually they do.. they sell the parts to 3rd world countries and militant factions.. Serial #'s are pretty useless at that point. :thumbsup
