my PC is fucked

My PC is having some really strange behavior, it works 5 minutes and then 5 minutes stalled as it builds hundreds and hundreds of CSS files in the Temporary Internet Files folder. At this time, the PC is using 100% of resources, then gets back to the usual usage, about 5%. I use XP, P4, 512 MB so it's not a memory thing, I guess it's a virus, trojan or some crap like that, but McAffee and an online service I used couldn't find anything. Any help on what can this be and whta can I do? Format C: is not an option :winkwink:

another thing: it seems that it's related somehow with mouse movement. ie, if I don't move the mouse for at least 20/30 seconds, then it fucks up really bad and stalls for 3/4 minutes. Guess format c: must be the only option :(
