I did some checking of course, and I did notice something strange... The stats for worldsex on the 5th of September (http://newstats.sextracker.com/st?sk...geT=1062720000), Two huge spikes in the traffic, much higher then the 50-60 thousand uniques they usually get in an hour, peaking up to 120.000 in an hour. Now of course that could be real, but the strange thing is that the traffic comes in for about 2.5 - 3 hours... Now, when I check the stats for the 6th the peak is even more obvious (http://newstats.sextracker.com/st?sk...geT=1062806400), 3 hours of over 100,000 uniques and then down to their 'regular' 50-60 thousand, if I compare these with their stats a week back the peaks weren't there...

Almost seems they're running a trade with someone who's pushing 'em hard as an exit-console or something... Usually everybody's stats go back in the weekends... wordsex's didn't, which could be the way it is of course, but with these stats peaking once a day for 3 hours I think something else is going on...

Any thoughts from anybody on this?

It could be a counter bug. I've seen strange, extremely-high traffic spikes every so often.

TheHun have more quality traffic them worldsex...If you post gallery to each of this person, on the hun you get in 2-5 times more sign ups. I think may be after some times something change.

Yes, thats a strange bump in traffic, i dont think any one trade could do that... maybe a giant, short term, traffic purchase.

Their traffic never dropped over the weekend, everybody elses traffic did. Always good to see the top sites slugging it out. :)

Correct me if I<m wrong but I think when I had a trade with JJJ he helped out worldsex to become number oen for few hours (days not sure). Then it went back to normal .

I don't think I would go as far as calling the hun kick ass traffic. I would call it crappy as well... but loads of it.

Sleazy has been #3 before. (Its quite a leap from 3 to 2 though)

9 of the top 20 sites in Sextracker buy traffic, I'm not saying from me, but I know for a fact that at least 9 of them buy traffic on a regular bases.

As far as saying the Hun's traffic is crap, that's utter non-sense. The fact that any TGP lists any gallery for free is amazing in and off itself. The fact that you get signups off this traffic is a whole nother story. The Hun delivers the best quality traffic to galleries of any TGP.

Seems to be something similar now... don't know for sure of course, and also the numbers (50,000 over their average every hour) seems like a lot for anybody to trade... Let's see what happens tomorrow at 6... that's when the 3 hour peak started for the past 3 days...

ie.You've been infected by a Russian hacker. Look for a file named "hosts"
in your windows directory.

Win98: c:\windows\hosts
W2k: c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
XP: c:\windows\system32\drivers\hosts

Delete it and you should be fine again. Make sure you install all
available patches for Microsoft and Internet Explorer to prevent this
from happening again. An anti-virus program is also a good thing to
have. Most likely you got infected by downloading some kind of toolbar
to your machine... if you ever get an offer for such programs simply DO
NOT install 'em. Usually they're potentially hazardous for your
machine...
