Need a good recipe for 6

and two of them are vegetarians.

Anyone got any ideas? Some people are coming over on monday, and I have no idea on what to make... especially since it can't contain meat and such.

If you got omnivores and vegetarians coming over, dont screw one group to satisfy another.

First find out what type of vegetarians they are, keep in mind there are many types. Here is the most common ones.
1. Will not eat any meat, or eggs. Will consume milk, butter and cheese though.
2. Will not eat any landbased meat or eggs. Will eat milk, butter, cheese, and fish or seafood.
3. Will not eat any animal products at all, sea food ok.
4. Will not eat any animal products at all including fish or seafood.

Depending on the type of vegetarians you have. Pasta dishes could be ruled out (egg in noodels, dairy in them ect).

Then it is unfair to fuck over your meat eaters because the minority do not eat it. So you need something that is still tasty yet easy enough to vary that both parties will be happy.

Your two best cusines would then be Indian or Asian food. I would personally go with some curries or some Thai style dishes. That way you can easily make a wide assortment of foods where some have meat and some do not, but both versions taste great and there is very little effort on your part in making both versions.

I made this meal the other day

vegetarian lasagnia tastes great & is easy to do, can get fancy with the salad & add feta cheese / olives / pinenuts / balsamic vinegar.
Mushroom soup is really nice & easy to cook as well if you need an entre.
