I thought my cox cable was down for a week until I figured out some ahole logged into my wireless router and changed the WEP key with the message suckmydonkeyballs. Its time to actually put a password on that router.

When I first got here I went with Cox.

I shit you not. My service would go down for anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes up to 10 times an hour.

It was driving me batty, I might as well had been on dialup with as much work as I was getting done.

So I switched to Sprint DSL and have been happy since.

$400? for what? I thought Cox's 3mb connection was the highest it went...?

ha - when I lived in Vegas - I think sykkboy and I were on the same local network with them - at that time we were like the first 20 customers - I never had any trouble - with them 756k up and down - it ruled - back in the Ifriends days I made bank off them -

I was down from 8am till noon on the 3rd, that was the first outage I've had in a long time, and it's been fine since.

as was i, fucking pissed me off, but it actually made me to go bed, so i guess it was a good thing

Reflected.net offers flat rate $350/mo T1s to GFY webmasters in Las Vegas, I think... I got a double bonded T1 in my office here (3.08mbps) for only $500/mo..

It's not too bad here in Phoenix. They had some problems earlier this year but's been pretty steady for the last few months. I get all the HBO's and Show time's plus phone and cable modem for about $110 total. Really, the only reason I'm still here in Phoenix is becuase it's so cheap. But I'm getting tired of it. Any suggestions for a good place to run a porn site from? I've thought about California a lot. Models are cheap and the weather is still good but everyone tells me to stay out of it.

is Cox cable a division of Time Warner? If not then when you switch be sure to avoid Time Warner cause they are no better and if you happen to need someone to come out and do some actual work on the lines it takes 2-3 weeks to get it done. Im just now getting back online and the work only took 30 minutes to complete but took them 2 weeks to get here.
