Humboldt Bank - Reserve Q
 

Hey,

I may dump humboldt bank all together. I know it says something like 6 months before you get your reserves, but anyone have any experience getting their reserves quicker after terminating their account?

Ive called and cant really get a straight answer and they owe me quite a bit.

you don't have much of a chance getting reserves earlier than six months. You are not their customer anymore, so they don't have any reason to play nice.

You just have to call them up on the day of your six month.

I didn't have any chargebacks for the 4th month since cancellation so i decided to give them a buzz,

couple of days later they gave me half :)

on the 6th month they gave it all to me,, but give them a call for the heads up

well, im trying to figure out the best way to get my money.... I can wait six months... but, keeping the account open only grows the reserve..... they have way too much money of mine and its a bit scary. Theres no reason they would need that much.

Last time I asked them to release some it was like 2% of what they're holding...lol

Why are you dumping them?

Why are you dumping them? They are one of the best banks as far as portfolio management and they are now taking new adult accounts again who meet certain criteria.

why dont you process some of your new sales with an alternate processor. And just run some charges with them? Until you get your reserves back. I would think thats a good thing to have if you dont have chargebacks.

no real probs w/ them.

they are just holding way too much cash of mine to make it worthwhile.

getting a fucking offshore merchant account is so hard.. everyone bullshits and tells you it's easy until you submit your app, then you never heard from them again, even if you're doing hundreds of thousands per month in sales...
