Hey Rich, if you really are into guns for target shooting, you should try a good old fashioned revolver like a .38 or something. Mechanically they are much more accurate, they don't move very much while firing... Semiautomatics like yours are all over the fucking place. :2 cents:

I seriosuly sugest learning how to give it a good scrubbing. Matter of fact I think every american should know how to dis-assemble a gun and clean it. But thats just me...

Get some handeling time on it and range time. Don't fuck around with it, dont dry fire it ect ect...:)

i have fired both and the 9mm is no where near as accurate as a s&w 38mm ... that thing is just dead accurate

that may be, and there are other reasons for that, but in general terms a revolver is no more accurate than an auto

some of the most accurate pistols in the world are autos

yes a revolver has a fixed barrel, but it also has 5, 6, or sometimes 9 different bullet chambers that are all slighlty different. the accuracy ratio of a firearm has nothing to do with auto or revolver, only with precision of craftsmanship

I have a Ruger MkII gov. target model with a 10.5" bull barell that is very very accurate. As in shooting 10 shots in the same hole at 25 yrds on a bench vise.

Besides that, look at what the top handgun target marksmen are shooting and you can see for yourself :-)

First um, you got rust on that thing guy. If you just bought it I feel for you, if not learn to friggen clean and care for it.

Second, is it wise to post the serial numbers of the gun and bullets or do you want everybody to track you?

Third, lilrich you worry me. You now have a gun but have not mastered the impossible art of cooking pasta and sauce in a jar.

Where do those stats come from? Post the article or website with that. I would like to check it out.
