You are absolutely right. I had a friend in a government office, which one I won't name, he said that most of the people in key state offices were bought. You gotta figure that police only make around $50k and border patrol even less so it's easy to buy off a man making that little who has to feed a family. Same thing goes for most public officials who are making average $110k a year but have grand lifestyles and family.

You've gotta get into the courts to see the real deal about politics.

We're sooooo freaking corrupt that it's almost SOP that a cop or judge or politician actually has a gun to his/her head. It's risky business cause you don't know whom to trust and often have no where to turn. It's a case by case basis and very, very tricky to resolve these situations.

We're a nation of crime, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It's HOW you handle it that defines what you really are and if lucky you'll get the kind of lawmen and judges and juries that can see through it all and nail a bad guy.
