I dont doubt for a minute that he meant them the way they were put the first time around..... I bet it was pressure from his production company reminding him how comments like that can hurt "box office".

Yeah, hes a bit of a let down..... I dont think hes got the strong, independent, forthright personality I once did.

He could have used his position to influence views, instead he chose to be a puppet.

I doubt it would have hurt box office anyway.... i think a large proportion of the public supported those anti-us comments.

Maybe he just changed his mind and decided the US rules after all.
