There are sites where you can browse content, without a login. You just won't be able to see as much. Nobody wants their content site to saturate the market with free views of their stuff.

I, for instance, have gone with that model. I do a low volume of large orders, to having every single thumbnail up just wouldn't be a good use of my time.
