Dreamweaver Templates

I need some information about using the Dreamweavers template system. Basically this is what I need to do:
setup an entire network of pages. For example:
I would somehow enter in colors, such as Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, etc. Then under each of those categories would be different shades of the colors.
It would look like this

Blue
Navy
Teal
Cyan
Red
Pink
purple
violet
Green
olive

I would have one set template of how I want the pages to be setup, then using templates it would generate pages such as blue.html, navy.html, teal.html, red.html etc. It would also have navy.html, teal.html cyan.html listed on the blue.html page.
I would need a way to edit the content on that page seperately. It would need editable variables, so every mention of the word "color" would be replaced with the color of the page (ie. blue, red, green, etc) If I need to make changes to any of the pages, I would just need to change the template and all the pages would automatically be updated.

I know this can be done but im not sure where to go about learning about this. I am looking for any books, tutorials, or webpages that can help explain this entire system to me.

EDIT>Find Replace feature.
Ya can global change several documents and nested documents with directories.

life might be a little easier if ya use a External CCS page that all documents refer to for proper formating.

Ya gonna have to read up though, and before doing all that work try and determine if what ya want might be better handled with a bit of Bubble Gum (PERL/PHP). Thus not only color choices be dynamic but Information as well. But hey I aint behind your eyes, I just takin a little stab at yer problem:)
