In britneys case her parents and later on the people around her
used her qualities to create someting.

In your case you utilize more of your own qualities to create someting (i assume).

But britney is not a beany baby. She can do things 99,999% of the girls (with more brains and more looks) cant.

Talent to perform and entertain.

The bottom line is: it's money that counts and she owns you
when it comes to that ;)

But it's her talent, dancing ability and voice that they work with - without it they'd have nothing.

I agree with you, but also disagree with you. These singers don't have it easy. They work damn hard, long hours doing very physical exhausting work for shows and videos.
And Britney gives back, every summer she sends about 100 poor kids to a singing/acting/dancing camp that she pays for completely. These kids get trained by *her* voice coaches, by *her* choreographers, by *her* drama instructors and at the end of the camp she comes to see them and they put on a show for her. It's fantastic for the kids, really gives them an edge and puts them in front of top-of-the-line talent scouts... and she pays for all of it out of her own money.

She might be a 'product' and she might be changing her 'sweet girl' image to one that's more mature, but unlike J-Lo, Britney really does remember where she came from and she gives back.

I look at it this way... if a bum is happy being a bum, then he was successful at what he wanted to do. Granted it took very little effort, but he managed to somehow disconnect himself from society's perception of what success is, and do what he wanted. Good for the bum.

Success is doing what you wanna do, and doing it well. Is he a really filthy bum? That would make him a real success!

I think she should keep her "wisdom" for herself

Who cares, if she thinks that she is a bimbo, but what she thinks and what she says in interviews are two different things. More likely than not she is just trying to avoid the backlash the dixie chicks received for their comments so its easier to play it safe. After all when was the last time Britney did anything really risky or that shocking? (Well besides that kiss but really it wasnt that risky)

The most amusing comment I found on that interview was that she considered that a long kiss, it seemed to me that it lasted only about 2 seconds at most?
