happens to me all the time
some even get snotty when you tell them you're not interested.
I either hang up the phone or tell them to wait and leave it open

i try and be polite untill they start the rebutals, then i just fly off the handle yelling and screaming untill they hang up

works better then being nice it seems, and im sure most of the time once im done they pull my number off the call list

Can't stand them, especially when they just keep yip yapping, so thats when I tell them to stop harrasing me...:mad:

My goal wasn't to hang up, I know it's a telemarketer before they even talk (there's a delay). I just wanted her to agree to take my number off the list, but that was too much for her to fathom. Next time they pull that shit I'm going to ask to talk to a supervisor.

Bell Canada came ot my house, they are worse than Jevoha's Witnesses... today he tried to sell me highspeed, and was trying to explain to me that their high speed isn't DSL.. told him I work in computers and he didn't, and he's like you're right, and I said get off my property and closed the door

I haven't got a call in months.

Now if they could only have a do not spam list...

AT&T calls my house at least 5-6 times a day.

I have 13 phone lines, it must kill them that I won't even give them one :1orglaugh I already promised my first born to Verizon though :thumbsup

www.donotcall.gov if you are in america this works most have stopped calling already for me and i added my number about 6 weeks ago.:thumbsup

Unfortunately the www.donotcall.gov will not stop the surveys.

What I used to do is try talking in a different accent/language take

Japanese and German

One time I got a call back 4 mins later from a Japanese guy
