IMPA on the D$ Show today - Part 2
 

We'll be picking up the pieces once again today with IMPA. We have JMM coming on the show today, starts @ 1:00 pacific / 4:00 eastern.

Everyone is welcome to listen, it won't be password protected.

If you'd like to ask a question, do it in this thread because we won't have live chat during the show. One day soon we'll have chat again, we just feel the show needs to be the focus for now.

You can still get your input heard by posting in this thread. I will be more then happy to ask good questions posted here.

If you're still in the dark about the Acacia patent effecting the use of video and audio streaming, you can listen to the past archives now before the show starts, get caught up to date. We've had IMPA on once before, a while back, then we had Acacia's Robert Berman speak a week later. We like to be fair and hear both sides, so we're going back to IMPA to hear their thoughts about what's going on recently. I'm also curious to hear what JMM has to say about the Acacia interview.

D$, your reasons for no chatroom don't hold up.

Bring back the chatroom. Trust me...you need the chatroom.

I just came from YNOT's show. The chatroom added 100% to the show. Also, tell dokk to shut up. He is the tech person. He shouldn't be intervening during your show. It's as though he is your co-host. If you are going to make changes, then make them in the dokk category. I like dokk, but he should stay quiet. If you can't see that, D$, then there is no reason for me to go on.

I agree, we'll be doing chat again soon. I miss it too.

Normally Adam is my silent sidekick, but he was gone today. So I involved Dokk a little so I wouldn't feel like I'm talking to myself.

Well, I did take your advice this week and started the show off with the relaxed fun stuff, including puting KB on the spot. That's always fun. So we do listen to your input, as we listen to everyone's input.

Kudo's to Ynot for a great show today. I listened to most of it, thought it was great stuff for a webmaster show. I would have liked to hear Juicy and Lil2rich on Headless's show, but I had to go live with our show.

I need the top 5 posters on GFY to come on our radio show next week. I think that would be one of the biggest shows yet. Can any board moderators help me get them? Or will someone help me get them on the show? Who are they?

D$, I couldn't listen to the beginning of your show because I promised Lee Noga I would be in the YNOT chatroom since she was responsible for ArchBishop Simpson being a guest today and she was also on the show.

When I turned on your show, I couldn't get the sound to work, so the archives will be perfect for me to catch up and tell others to listen who couldn't make it today.

One of the things I really like about you is that you don't get upset with me when I am very blunt. I like you and KB or I wouldn't bother to listen every week, and I wouldn't bother to be so open with my comments on your thread. You are one of my favorites, and you have been showing us that you can handle serious shows with or without chatrooms.

Now, convince badboy Shaw to be a guest along with FM, Serge, JoeE, and KimmyKim. They have been there...done that, and have lots to offer us in their years of experience.:thumbsup

I wanted to hear Lee as well, but I was starting as she was about to go on. I almost pulled the show back so I could hear the rest of that show. Props to Lee for setting that up, be my program director for next week!

We'll have an archive up in the next day or so. The show had great information with IMPA and Fightthepatent.com. I got KB to talk about the Brad deal a little.

As far as getting FM, JoeE, Serge and others, I should get on that soon. Especially Serge, always a great interview. Brad said he won't do radio.

I'll be playing around with some future topics and guest line ups to keep things fresh. Lil2Rich4U and Juicy are in demand lately. I'll get the GFY allstars together for a show.

Anyway, thanks again for your feedback Microchick. I always appreciate input even when I don't like it. You've had good advice, worth listening to. I'll add the chat back soon.
