is there a site i can get cheap prices on mainstream dvd's ?

If you're talking about just buying for your own use...

Go through shopping.yahoo.com, many of the affiliated stores there are 1-man dropship operations so they can afford to be even cheaper than Amazon etc.

How? I gotta admit I haven't used them for several months but I have always had great service.

service has basically become non-existant.

items seem to go out of stock days after an order was placed even though listed as in stock at the time of the order.

those back-orders often take weeks to come in, and are delivered via the cheapest possible route (usps), even if you specified overnight, in the original order.

prices have been going up lately.

and their site goes down more than jenna jameson.


They used to be great, I've probably bought 150 DVD's from them, but lately... I'd rather stab myself with a fork than even go to their site.

That sucks.

others are having similar issues with them...

if ya poke around... you'll most likely find some other shops to use.

I've been buying mine used at Wherehouse Music (brick and mortar). That's why I haven't used deepdiscountdvd lately.

If there's a certain movie that you'd like and it's fairly newer, you should hit up Ebay and scan around for a couple of days until you find a cheap "Buy It Now" option. I know that I got "Gangs Of New York" for $12.99 with FREE SHIPPING rite after it came out :)
