in my experience, one week cam sites will convert really well. then the next week it will make 0 sales... when they make money, they make good money. they as just very inconsistant

InsaneGreen, are you using or have you used iFriends?

i have used ifriends. then i tried imlive, didnt have much luck there. tried out mtree. then gave up, i guess my traffic dont like cams

ifriends is still king of the hill

they do more biz than prolly all the other cam sites put together.

I dont know about their affiliate program but they get most of their traffic from deals with MSN and other search engines.

If ya wanna try another cam site give me a shot at converting your traffic.

I used to make a lot of money with Clickcash....

Then my ratio went 1 in 1800 overnight and then one day shortly after that, they decided to term me the day checks went out. I was in their show case for like a a year straight.

They could care less about their webmasters/webmistresses, no matter how many sales you produce for them.... they will screw you over in the end.

They dont usually term anyone till you start doing over 10k a month with them. Once your over 10k watch out some day it might be you :(

i like the way they make you fax them your TOS every month and then make you email them a couple of times to send your check.

there aren't many companies out there with that much interaction between the webmaster and webmaster support.

ifriends can kiss my ass.. back in 2001 i made $145 000 with ifriends/clickcash.com... december of 2001 2 of my cheques bouced and it took over 3 months for web power inc to do anything about it.. only when my bank got involved di they move their ass. after that no matter how much traffic i sent i made $0. fuck em

Been strong for me since February of 1996... that's 7 years and 6 months. Payment on time every week. never bounced.

Lars you just gained my absolute respect for posting that instead of standard spam.

The bounced checks did not effect everyone, it also was a bank error and they switched banks right after that. It was not just affiliates, many chathosts were also affected. They paid everyone, and if you contacted Tim or was even somewhat polite they fedexed the new checks a few days latter.

i promote it from a mainly mainstream site.

i don't do too bad, considering i was 1:6500 (no typo) with the adult.com reality spring break and other sites that were somewhat related to "real girls" like ifriends would be.

ifriends has consistently converted and paid for me for well over a year now on traffic that is otherwise crap... i've been happy to make a few bucks on it. they've also raised payouts twice since then which is cool. economy sucks, people are downsizing.. and they upgrade..

no checks have bounced either... whatever people talk about relating to that is the considered the past to me..

i just tried to sign up with these guys, the activation email arrived but it wont let me in with my username and password, ARE THESE GUYS STILL AMATEURS SINCE 1996?!??!?!

Hey Al and Ron were my 2 first sponsors at 2 cents per click. withought them I prolly would not be here they helped pioneer the ability for free sites to even exist. And they let me exist long enough to figure it out. Plus I dont really see other live cam sites as competition, just as other paysites are not competition in fact they compliment each other. My sales are at record levels and there are more cam sites now than ever, I think competition just legitimizes the product and makes people more comfotable with it. which helps sales !

Unless you have tested imlive.com during the last 2 weeks, I would have recomand you to test it again. We have changed many things in the site over the past month and we saw convert rate get way better :2 cents:

BULLSHIT.

They refused to post new cheques and/or totally ignore mail for a VERY long time for MANY people. My own case took scanned images of the bounced cheques posted to GFY a year later to make the new ones 'magically' appear. They are NOT good people to deal with.

Just to add - unfortunately it seems it really is a little pot luck how you are treated and maybe helps who you are. It's daft to say 'they must be good because they didn't screw me or cause me grief' when it's obviously not the case for many others.

Personal opinion is that for some they may still be worth trying but if they do tread very, very carefully. A huge part of the problem is that with the deals they have going they simply don't really need the affiliate traffic so are happy to treat many people like shit.

They took thier whole showcase down within hours after I did that.

www.camcontacts.net - We dont enter affiliate prgrames as a rule though we have joined up for these guys.

I send traffic to camcontacts, their program looks like it came out the ass end of a spanish prostitute, but they pay me and I'm earning good money with them.

I wouldn't recommend them to newbies though - it takes a bit of time before you see the results. IMHO it's a good program, but the less webmasters on it, the more money for me, so GFY.

ifriends is very very strange company to deal with and I wouldn't touch 'em with a barge pole. They do cancel accounts at random.
