Someone needs to do a LATE NIGHT webmaster radio show
 

I'm often in the mood late in the evening to have a webmaster radio show on to listen to or participate in . yeah I know there are archives - but i LIKE live stuff. someone needs to do this...

hmm if someone can throw me the pipe to do it i can do it ..... on my connection i can hold mebbe around 15 or so listeners but i dont have the things to add people to the show or any of that ... so ill need someone like PLR * HINT HINT *

I was thinking about a late night thing to accomodate the people on the other side of the globe.

the show will only be an hour long, the intros could take that long

another problem would be getting call ins, unless Kimmy wanted to come here, but I think 2 call ins at a time are the most we can handle . . . . but the producers are looking at this thread, so they will let me know

would have to talk to my producers. . . . they just call me and I talk. . . so a phone would be a good start.

I was thinking about doing a late night show a while back. I still think someone should test the waters. I think PLR does a night show, D-Man used to call me pretty late, on air.

I personally felt that a much smaller audience would attend, but they'd be prepared to have fun rather then talk work.

If someone does do a night show, I think it should be daily for 30 minutes.

How late night?

daily would be cool - might need an hour though

I would advertise it as being only 30 minutes daily so people don't feel like they have to spend the whole hour, seems like an easy pop in and out thing for 30 minutes. If it runs an hour, so be it, have fun.

I know, someone will say I should be asking for the help since I've had a few issues with the tech side with bigger crowds. But if you add all of my shows up since the beginning, every show but 2 were done perfectly, been doing it for years now. 99.99% of the time we've done it right.

Marketing it becomes the trick. If people don't show up, you'll start to feel silly talking to 3 people. Hit your newsletters about 3 hours before show time, that's been the key for us. Have others hit their newletters for you as well.

Oh yeah, one more piece of advice, I can get a language translation program for live chat. So if you do a late night show, the rest of the world would like to attend and participate. This program enables them to read the chat in their language and chat in their language. I've been wanting to use it for my show, but it's not 100% perfect, some bugs still. Might be worth looking into though.
