hum yes alexa is powered by the allmighty google toolbar, that was called alexa bar before :P

I've used it for a few years, and haven't had any problems yet. I use Mozilla predominantly, but their google toolbar doesn't include pagerank, and heck, it's just really handy to have in IE. Makes it more.. Mozilla like :)

I love it, I installed it last week and so far have 89 popups blocked and love seeing everybodies PR

I honestly still don't know what the hell exactly it does and how to increase the ratings on it.. but so far most of my sites are 4/10 and I even have a couple 5/10
