I went boating today and just before my friends arrived I decided to take the boat out for a test run to see how big the waves were out on the open lake. So I get back into the harbor, and go slow like always. I?m a long way away from the sailboats and this one asshole starts screaming to me about my wake. I have almost ZERO wake - next to nothing but he goes on a tangent. I dock my boat and tie it up and he comes stomping down the finger dock yelling at me about the wake (it?s long wooden floating finger dock). I ignore him, he?s like 5'8 and 160 lbs soaking wet, I?m 6'3 and over 300lbs. He?s in a RAGE, and calls me a bunch of names.I know there?s no reasoning with him so I do the smart thing and walk away. As I?m walking away I reach my breaking point and I turn and bark out ?fuck off? to him. He stops cold. I can be scarry when I want to be. I continue to walk away and he starts yelling that he?s going to report me to the harbor master. In true GFY spirit I turn and tell him to make sure he tells mommy too. This sends him into a TOTAL fit - he curses and yells and scurries off to the harbor master?s office. 20 mins later I get a call from the harbor master, seems he freaked out in there too. The harbor master didn?t believe him though, the idiot didn?t? realize that I?ve known the harbor master for my whole life and I grew up with and am good friends with his son.

Afterwards keep thinking about how I wanted sooooo bad to toss that little fucker into the lake. But I know that if I laid a hand on him, even in total self defense, he would charge me and all a judge would see is 6'3 300+lbs me and 5'nothing 160lbs him.

Something similar happened to me this summer...a man around 50 or so started yelling at me about our wake. We were actually doing wakeboarding but there were only us and him on the whole damn lake. It's not a little lake, there are like 200 boats parked on it. It was late, like 9 Pm so there was nobody on the lake. The guy was screaming like a maniac. We stopped to talk to him and he started yelling at us, ordering us to move away as it was, according to him, HIS SPOT on the lake...I asked him to be more polite and tried to reason him but he kept ordering us to get the fuck out of HIS SPOT! I got sick of that annoying bastard so I started to get angry and told him to go fuck himself and a bunch of other stuff ...apparently he didn't like it and started threaten us of kicking our asses...the man was like 50 or so with his daughter..we were three 26 years old guys ...it's not like he was frightening you know....I knew we couldn't do anything about it so we just continued wakeboarding while the old man kept screaming like a damn fool...:1orglaugh

age has taught me that it's best to ignore idiots. they WANT attention and the worst thing you can do is give them some.

I'm 5'9" and about 165, and I guarantee I could completely kill you in any fist fight. Don't under estimate the quickness and strength of a guy just cuz shes shorter than you. When someone is as fat as you are, people know how to beat ya ass. That is, by moving.

The guy was quite insulting. We weren't doing anything bad...just chilling and doing wakeboarding...can't believe he "ordered" us to get out of his lake...I mean, he's just a resident like anybody else...don't know what made him think we would actually obey ...

if the guy would have just asked us to make a deal with him..like if you don't mind, we would like to take this spot and you could take that one etc..I would have probably said OK no problem sir let's do it ....but the guy had no class...screaming like a maniac does not get you anywhere...

i quit fighting several years ago. it solves nothing. as a big guy every little DIPSHIT like you wanted to fight me cause I was the trophy. NONE ever even hurt me. not even close. I had 5 years martial arts training and from that i learned NEVER to box. I won't agrue that you may be quicker, but you still have to come in too close to make a hit - and once you do you're fucked.
if i had the incvlination to still fight I'd just rip you limb from limp. guess what - strength and weight MATTER - no matter how much you tell yourself it doesn't.

if it didn't MATTER there wouldn't be WEIGHT clasifications in boxing.

the FUNNIEST thing I ever saw on this topic was the really big mentally handicaped man in my home town. I was about 10 years old and watching the beer gardens at a local festival. the big guy's name was Rosy, he was about 6'5 and SOLID muscle and about 40ish at the time. real slow though - but nicest guy you could ever meet. some 25 year old guys started teasing him, and he told them to stop like a handicaped man would - it sounded like a child who had his feelings hurt. they guys wouldn't stop. several other people TOLD the idiots not to tease Rosy - but they didn't listen - they were ACTUALLY boxers that were fighting in an exibition match later that day. anyway - one of them ended up hitting Rosy as hard as he could in the face, Rosy didn't even wince. He grabbed the guy in a bear hug and the guy went purple. his friends started hitting Rosy but it didn't matter, Rosy flung the guy he was bear hugging around like a stick and knocked them all over, and then my Dad - who was Rosy's friend, had to convince Rosy not to kill the guy cause it looked like his ribs were about about to cave in. Rosy felt soo bad after that. he was soo ashamed of himself. My dad and myself kept telling him it was self defense but it didn't matter. Rosy knew it wasn't a fair fight - even if the boxers THOUGHT it was.

I doubt those boxers EVER teased a big man ever again. Size and strength MATTER.

Don't underestimate anyone - big or small.
My Dad is 6'3" and over 200 pounds, and he moves like freaking lightning. Used to be an MP in the army, he and his partner were the guys they called when there was a bar fight going on and they needed to clear the place out. Big, gentle guy who's really a teddy bear... caught my step-grandfather beating on my grandmom one time and broke his leg in three places while yelling "wanna beat on a woman? why don't you beat on ME??"

Then there's ex-hubby. 5'11" or so and 135 pounds soaking wet. Fastest and most dangerous thing I've ever seen (in person). I've seen him take down guys Sleazy's size, I've seen him take down black belts in at least 4 different types of martial arts, and he's never had a day of training.

The scariest moment in my life was when I was standing between the two of them and they were ready to kill each other. Both knew the other's weakness and it was about ten seconds from striking time.
I picked up the ex-hubby and threw him about ten feet out of the garage, then slammed and locked the door. It was pure fear and adrenaline that let me do it... I did NOT want those two stepping over that line and throwing the first strike. There would've been no stopping them.

Don't underestimate ANYONE - I don't care if they're small and scrawny, or big lumbering hulks. You never know, and your assumptions can land your ass in the hospital or worse.
