what is this traffic you speak of? Top speed through town here is 20. Road runs along the beaches & water for about 4 miles. That's my world. My biggest obstacle is chicks walking across the street in bikinis carrying surfboards.

yeah.... all Durangos come with V8's. This one's loaded. 4x4... tow package, leather..... all of it.

they have a couple of different sizes in the V8s though I believe.

I am actually selling this car this week, because I have had it for 2 years and just haven't had time to drive it, I just stick with my convertible and SUV for now.

we really just ran out of options.... we both moved here with two sports cars. We don't know anyone. No one to call on if ya need a truck to haul something.... and trying to bring shit back from Home Depot is a major snafu in a sports car. So, being we lack the friends we had in Cali we could rely on for truck support when we needed it, we just figured it was time. So we ditched both cars, and got the Durango. Was the smart move. So now I can haul stuff, plenty of room for beach and ocean gear, can tow with it, throw surfboards up top.... problem solved. :)

plus it helps out picking up guests from the airport.... trying to jam 4 people's luggage, 4 people, plus myself into a convertible Mustang, was not working out. Now I can seat 6 and still have room for luggage.

for anyone wondering, these pics were taken this afternoon down near Ahihi Bay, just before the lava fields of south Maui. Great intermediate snorkel/dive spot, and perfect kayak launch point.
Through Wailea, past the Grand Wailea, Kea Lani, Maui Prince, through Makena, and down the road to the end. Roughly about 4 miles from my place.

Durangos are nice, I had one for a year. traded it in for an escalade
