 cron / server load is there a way to work out how much additional server strain a cron job will put on a server? say i only want to cron a single script every 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 mins or whatever is there a forumula to work out the additional server load time? tia. |

 You could setup Larrd and have it keep track of server load on 1-5 minute increments and graph them. |

 Cron will not stress the server, the script it executes will. Log into the shell, type top and monitor the load the script causes. |
