But seriously, Hoost has a much more frightening overall record than Sapp. 90 wins out of 107 fights for Hoost, and 7 wins out of 10 fights for Sapp.

Show me what fight Hoost beat Sapp? He lost to Sapp, but Sapp broke his hand and couldn't continue the tournament, so K-1 let Hoost move to the next round instead, thats the only thing that could possibly be construed as a win in the Sapp vs Hoost matches.

But I agree, Hoost is a much better fighter then Sapp... Hoost just hasn't figured out how to stop 350lbs of NFL football player yet. Personally I dislike Bob Sapp, he only makes it off of size/strength alone... did you see him cry like a little bitch when Cro-Cop broke his eye? Priceless

I actually think one of the main reasons Hoost lost to Sapp in the real fights is arrogance... he barely paid any attention to defense, and spent way too much time close to Sapp. Ofcourse, he also isn't getting any younger, which probably is an important factor as well.

I believe that fighters have figured out how to beat Sapp now, and that is to hit him in the stomach. If I remember correctly, Hoost was the one that found this out by knocking Sapp down with a body shot in their last fight.

Yah, I have the Nog-Sapp fight, its a long fight though...

I didn't think Nog was gonna make it, he was getting thrown around like a ragdoll... and I thought for sure his neck was broken after Bob Sapp piledrived Nog's head into the canvas.

But as evidenced in the video I posted earlier, Sapp gasses fast.

Still though, as a fighter I'd prefer to win the Cro-Cop way then try the "Rope-A-Dope" strategy with Bob Sapp the way Nog did :2 cents:
