time to abandon a sponsor?
ugh. i liked this sponsor, but for some reason since about may or early june, the conversion ratio SKYROCKETED to over 1:2000 very quickly. now i look today, and since june 1, i'm 1:3595. the retention seems pretty good, but i just can't get them to convert. it'd be nice to get some more sales on that because of the retention, too...
it's a good site, good program owners, i'm just not sure what to do with it. i've never had anything that's converted even near that bad... ugh. |
Are you pushing it in the same way? Change it up, generally the longer a sponsor's site is around the more saturation becomes an issue. If it's worked well, do whatever you can think of to improve the ratios... know when to move on though, you could be missing out on 4 500 bucks if they are converting that poorly.

Yeah, what he said. Try changing the presentation of the offer. Are you niche? If so - just change the text targetting and such.

Tell us the program maybe we are having different luck :)

maybe, maybe not

another idea is to contect the program owner they know what works well in most cases

or read Choker's recent post :Graucho

well, everyone else i generally get around 1:200-500 on tgp traffics. i've talked to the sponsor a bit, but didn't really get much help there. yes, if that traffic was going to some of my other sponsors, i definitely would have been pulling in a nice chunk of change.
most of the stuff i do is off tgp traffic, which although isn't the best i know, i do fairly well with it. although all my sponsors are in a similar general category, and get traffic from a lot of the same sources. but it's like, same traffic, just all the sudden the sus quit. i used to get about 1:450 or so on them, which seems alright for ccbill sponsors. i dunno, i haven't really pushed them much for a while, since i'm not exactly sure what to do... been thinking about pushing them some more though lately. i'm still getting rebills from a few months ago, so it's obviously not bad... |
