Dude, hate to break it to you but the rule of thumb is this: Everyone shaves.

You can tell that they are shaving when you meet them at Internext and they have baby smooth faces and/or body parts. If they are hairy beasts then they probably aren't shaving.

Your stats actually don't look bad for the amount of traffic you're pushing. If you were doing that amount of traffic and it was showing 1 signup a week, then I'd say it might be cause for concern. But 3 signups in 1500 uniques still isn't a terrible ratio.

The only way to prove it is to get multiple people to join from your site and see if you get all of them counted.

Any sponsor who won't let you do a test signup is one i'd not use.

If you don't like your conversions, they must be shaving. Hurry up and post about it on all the boards.

if it shows 20 and you send 100, is it possible they only count second page hits? If so, be thankfull they do it that way. Much better way to gauge productive traffic.

Right now on CQ2 I have 1:50 with one of there sites with pure SE traffic :thumbsup

CQ2 converts niche traffic very well.

We most definitely allow test sign ups as long as you let us know ahead of time so it doesn't look like you are cheating. We have a sharp accounts department that watches for things like this. ;)

We have an excellent reputation in the industry as one of the most honest programs around.

FYI, CQ2 counts uniques to the first page.

We have paid on time, everytime since 1996....that certainly says alot. :)

which page are they counting? Have you ever emailed a sponsor to find out? Most of them only count second page clicks anyways, so you're not going to find an exactly match

my rule of thumb: count my outclicks and see who produces a bigger check amount for the number of outclicks on my count, those are the only stats that matter to me...
