some are honest..some are not.
it all depends on the person who wants to do business with someonce who's completely stranger to him/her.

I asked a guy about doing some advertising, and he said to me " Not interested, you burned your bridges on Oprano"

He feelss it is OK for Serge to come here show his ass , and insult the hosts over and over again, try to take business from this good and respectable message board over to his own diabolical deciet filled world known as Oprano... filled with Hypocracy, and envy.

Then is so Offended when someone does that to his mentor...(the same aforesaid Serge ) That he just wants to take his little ball and go home... not playing fair he says...boo hoo....

So I just was wondering, How many really intelligent webmasters, and business men made similiar desicions so that I do not waste my time or theres trying to do any business with them..... speak now Opranouts show yourselves, you know you are here looking...show yer faces you mental midget cowards! and explain yourself!

I am just getting back in the biz. But 2 years ago I had a good group of people I worked with. Some I met from message boards some emailed. I always believed if I helped out someone at the beggining it would always come back and help you.... I have ran into some good people and bad. The only thing that stinks for me is being gone for two years finishing up school I have to start over and make new friends..........

But Amp, you don't come on GFY saying that you hate fags, Jews, ******s, and women. A lot of ignorant, jackass webmasters do. And, I wouldn't do business with a person who puts that type of negative bullshit out in the general public. To me, that's just a sign that you're not dealing with a full deck. You're not thinking clearly about the future of your business and you treat this industry like it's nothing more than a playground. Something temporar.

But strangely enough, some of those same people who freely spout ignorance on a public board will still push a program run by fags, Jews, ******s, or women. If you're going to be a bigot, then don't talk about it--be about it. Don't take their money. Be prepared to not do business in that arena. :2 cents:

Pissing, arrogance, and just plain joking around is one thing. Blatant ignorance is another. I think most people can tell the difference.

Board personalities are just that. They mean nothing in real life. I deal with very few people I haven't met in person. One of my partners in a deal we are finishing tomorrow is a guy who I can't stand his board personality but he's a great guy in person. Some other people are asses on the boards and asses in person as well. C'est la vie.

Message boards are an exercise in Global networking.
Not to mention I use different boards with a specfic purpose in mind... anyone who doesnt isnt maximizing their potential.

People are completely different on and off the boards. Anyone who makes business decisions based on someone's actions on a stupid board needs to get their head checked. I also think it's beyond retarded to make business decisions based on the other parties personal beliefs.

Business is business. Keep it that way.
