I was thinking about this untaken domain for 3 days, and i was so excited... I even dreamt about it, and what the fuck.. Today i tried to register the domain andd....... IT IS FUCKING TAKEN :mad: :mad: i can't believe this shit just registered today.... I feel like crying since i am so mad...

Had that happen before too. Used to always think about each one. Now if I get the gut instinct on one right away I just grab it asap. There are a lot of people fishing in the domain lake now. If you don't get it someone else will.

I've had it happen twice when I spent just the few minutes time adding to my shopping cart and when I was checking out, one was taken by someone else. So now on the really good ones I just put 1 in the cart and check out instantly.

I'm still floored everyday when I see the names people are letting go of. Some of them are so great you just shake your head and wonder if you're seeing things.

Its happened to me quite a few times. One of my biggest regrets was not getting my hands on "register.cc". Fuck, I can't beleive I didn't snag it :feels-hot. I know it's a .cc, but still, would have made a great name for a .cc registration site!!

I could have registered "Canada.com" but it wasn't netiquette when I began registering domains to have more then one.

A week later or something ...

has happened to me alot, kick myself. one of them i had registered at Netsol back when u could register without paying for months, when i went back to check on it months later, it had dropped and been re-registered by somebody else.

i've offered the guy $1,500 twice since and he refuses, he's done NOTHING with the domain in 4 years. And it's nothing that special but i did want it.

happened again to me in the last couple of months, I checked out a domain for a company i was doing some work for, saw it was available, thought about registering it for them but then decided i'll let them know about it and they can register it themselves so I don't have to register and transfer. I go back two weeks later - gone.
