"guilty to one count of conspiracy to mail obscene material and conspiracy to use the Internet for the purpose of sale and distribution of obscene material. Each count carries a maximum potential penalty of five years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine."
Just fuck. I don't know what kind of vids they sold, but fuck anyway. That's the best part: "...conspiracy to use the Internet for the purpose of sale and distribution of obscene material..." Whuahahah... Fuck. Sounds too bad. |

fucking fed's. they just wanted to beat off to shit pics.
dont they got anything better to do then order shit videos and describe them in detail. |

They're going after the extreme stuff first, but any adult webmaster could be a target. I was once at a seminar on Internet pornography where Bruce Taylor bragged about how he used to get obscenity convictions for plain vanilla hardcore -- no fisting, no shitting, no nothing. |

So what the government is telling me that it is okay for a dude to fuck another dude in the ass but not to have images of a woman shitting sent through the mail. Doesn't anyone find this stupid? |

I tell you, it's a massive conspiracy. The government is shutting down all the extreme sites... for now. Relaunching them within a year, with their brand spanking new affiliate progra; Government Bucks.

Doesnt matter if you use FedEx, UPS or USPS or put the videos on the back of donkey and deliver them your still selling obscene videos across state lines which makes it a FEDERAL offence.
My lawyer told me if you use UPS or Fed Ex you are safe but that wasnt for the sale of shitting videos lol. It was for girl girl and solo girl stuff. If they hadnt used the us mail it would of made it harder to get them, using the US mail for obscene videos is a crime but people are lazy and want to keep shipping costs down. I can see it , we had a clothing business throwing something in a priority mail envelope is much easier then dealing with FED ex or UPS. |
if i want to shit and take a video, and somebody else will pay me for that video, what business is it of the government?
i'll tell you: it's not. so now, somebody come on here and tell me again how america is a free country. like i've said in earlier posts, in america you're free to do what you're told or suffer the consequences. |
Many webmasters are seriously ignorant of the laws governing production and distribution of obscene material and the type of content that increases their risk exposure.
With prosecutions all but guaranteed, I'm amazed how many people are still pushing the limits with the GFY attitude and distributing content that puts them right in the cross hairs to be next up to bat. If you think you can mess with the Federal Government, you better have enormously deep pockets. Odds are against you just by the sheer size of the resources at their disposal to rock your world from top to bottom. Going to be a lot of rude awakenings in the year ahead. That is for sure. |

it doesn't matter whether i have a law degree or not. before the civil war it was a law that i could own a person with black skin. so is that ok because it was a law? and since that person was my property if i wanted to i could kill him. so is that ok because it was a law? see, just because something's a law doesn't mean its right. and consensual acts between two adults that doesn't harm others, even if it's buying a tape of me taking a shit, is no business of the government. |
Quote:
By the way I agree with you on the concept. Why the government is taking our tax dollars to prosecute a couple selling pictures of themselves going to the bathroom is kind of pushing the limits of absurdity in light of all the serious problems in this country. But you have to recognize the government has some extremely conservative folks in extremely powerful positions right now that get to set the agenda. And right now the adult industry is on their menu. |
Read the story! If your in West Virginia and doing a scat site then what the fuck ever - see this is how the stereo type WV redneck comes to play!

You guys must be on crack.
Video distribution is a big business with a lot of laws. You break those laws, whether you think they're "right" or not, you're going to get your ass busted. Cry, whine, and complain all you want about it not being "fair"... but when a clear cut law is being broke, shut the fuck up and suck up your ignorance. Run a legitimate business and you'll eliminate a good chunk of your risk. In some states, certain porn is considered obscene and WILL get you busted. Simple tip: DON'T TELL TO THAT STATE! |

I can't believe the feds have got the time to waste cracking open photoshop and slapping a fake rubber stamp over the image... what are they, dogs pissing to mark their area?
|
don't see the problem..
CP and Beast is also considered "illegal"/obscene... in the US so are you righteous anti governement peeps going to defend those products too??? there is plenty of $$$ producing and selling plain vanilla mainstream... if someone is brave enough to go out on a limb and walk that gray area... then they should be prepared to face that 10,000 pound gorilla.. its all about ROI.. if you spend more money on your legal fees trying to defend your stance on obscenity... than you put in your pocket.. you should really re-think your business model :2 cents: |
For those who think there is nothing to worry about let me refresh your memory

From a business perspective, I agree with Greg... it's just not worth it to push the boundaries in that way. The risks are far greater than the rewards.
But I wish somebody could explain to me why even extreme porn between consenting adults should be illegal. We know it is, and I agree that it's not worth some of the risks, but that doesn't mean the laws have any merit. |

anyone with half a brain knows that if you aren't harming someone else it's no big deal. however, we are talking about the government here. |
What consenting adult do should be their business but adult webmasters should also have to tighten up their business. I get hit with the most graphic spam, keep throwing it in peoples faces. Its not like behind the counter, its in John Q Public's face when he checks his email or worse when his 10 yr old checks her email. Domains that are misspellings of mainstream sites that hit with a very graphic pop up bombs. Alot of this is the industries fault, since no one wants to police themselves now the Government will. As far as Reds-realm goes get a office where kids arent there, its a business treat it like one. The problem is Adult webmasters think they are special other businesses have rules and laws they must follow, bars to do, banks do, insurance agents do etc. Why shouldnt adult webmasters have to follow rules and the law? The people they are going after are making it very easy, it wasnt like they were set up and it was a plot.
