Liars. Gas is pushing $2.60 a fucking gallon here for regular. I guess we don't count as 'part of the nation' anymore huh.

Ya gas jumped pretty good here in vegas recently too. And im driving 1500 miles next week... prolly the worst time to drive! doh!

They blame the NE blackout and of course the Arizone pipeline thing...its $164.9 in Florida for the 87 Octane.

Where about $2.15 here and I was complaining but shit its better than paying $2.60.:glugglug

1 gallon is like 4 liters right? So at 2.60/gallon thats .65/liter correct me if I'm wrong but over here we pay 1.14/liter so these prices aren't realy that high :winkwink:

Give up the gas guzzler and buy a Mini cooper or one of them electric hybrids from Honda:winkwink:

Yeah gas is cheaper in the US / Canada then in Europe by quite a bit.

I guess cause we produce our own oil over here (alberta) and don't have to pay to export it all in from the middle east.

Haha just reminded me of that good George Bush quote.

what sucks big ass is that Maui is like .75 cents higher than the other islands.... more tourism = gouge the fuck outta the gas.

When I don't have to spend as many Frequent Flyer points to fly there, I'll consider HI part of the nation.......:winkwink:

I live in a resort area - our gas is ALWAYS 10-15 cents a gallon more expensive than it is in Atlanta and the suburbs. :mad:

When I went to lunch today, gas was $1.60...I decided to eat first and fill up after. 1 friggin hour later, the shit went up to $1.67. WTF!!!

Kinda funny that there's now a gas shortage, but in a couple weeks there won't be one.. gotta love it....

We also had the north south AND the east west pipelines into town go down and we've had stores without gas to sell for more than a week now.

Then the fix on the main line from the south didnt work so they had to put in a 4 mile bypass in order to get something moving into town.

Truckers were waiting 10 hours to fill their tanks in Tucson and motorists were waiting 30-45 minutes to hopefully get gas last week, not a pretty site :(
