Ok... here's the stupid Google question of the week...

Is there a way to check a website's ranking in Google without downloading the Google toolbar?

Sure. Ask a few friends who have the toolbar to visit the site and tell you what it is. (I say a few because recently a friend and I have been getting different results when hitting a site at the same time.)

Seriously though, any reason why you don't want to install it? (Or can't?)

I guess I could install it. I just didn't want to install another program... some of those "safe" programs are rather intrusive... but I never see anyone complain about Googles... so I'll download it.

I would install though they don't seem to have a version for mozilla.

Damn... whay didn't <font size="7">I</font> think of that... :)

i dont like the idea of toolbars as well,but the last google toolbar is much better than one i had installed ages ago. You can hide all the options you do not use and it doesn't slow down your IE.
