Bush Administration to merge drug war with war on terror

The Victory Act, also known as Patriot Act II

The draft legislation -- titled the Vital Interdiction of Criminal Terrorist Organizations Act of 2003, or Victory Act -- includes significant portions of the so-called Patriot Act II, which faced broad opposition from conservatives and liberals alike and embarrassed the Justice Department when it was leaked to the press in February.

The Victory Act also seems to be an attempt to merge the war on terrorism and the war on drugs into a single campaign. It includes a raft of provisions increasing the government's ability to investigate, wiretap, prosecute and incarcerate money launderers, fugitives, "narco-terrorists" and nonviolent drug dealers.

Maybe Bush will have a new deck of "most wanted" playing cards with all the biggest pot heads on them.

There are few people at GFY who might get their own card.

Well it's about time!

I mean, if you want a successful model to base a campaign on, then by all means use the War on Drugs! It has been so damn effective I'm surprised they didn't think of merging these two before now!

Now, I've heard scuttlebutt that the war on pornography could be added as a special admendment.

That would be truly hitting the "trifecta!"

Years ago... when the buffalo roamed...
And the deer and the antelope played...
Many thought the USA was the land of the free and flocked to its shores.

The era of the Wild West and the cowboy are over.

The USA masses are now tamed and docile, entertained by television and internet porn. They poured French wine in the gutters when some countries dared to stand up and not condone an invasion of Iraq.

Now the gov't of USA is making every effort to install Stalinistic "Big Brother".

Will the people finally wake up when V-chips are installed in their necks?

I'm not counting on it. The only thing that is going to stop these insane fools is getting Bush* and his whole stinking crew out of the White House, before they finish the job of trashing our country.
