ISPs Are Fucking Dumber Than Dirt!
If that fucking bug isn't bad enough I'll bet I've deleted 500 pcs of email from ISPs telling me I'm spreading a Virus!
And I'm also getting the shit comming from their email-addys, should I email them and tell them they're spreading it too? If they'd quit sending something they know isn't true maybe things would calm down some! It's getting to the point they're as much of a pain in the ass as the bug! |
That's what happen when stupid virus use your email adresses
|
I'll second that notion Toker. At least some of them will strip the attatchment... but it still makes no sense. The virus uses RANDOM EMAIL ADDRESSES so emailing the return address only adds to the problem, even if they do strip the attatchment.
This is probably the fault of the virus scanners. What these MTA scanners need to do is, if they're gonna send out notices, at least keep a list of viruses that use/harvest random email addys. Then check any found viruses against this list before sending out uneeded clutter. -- On a side note, it seems like the only Windows machines that DON'T crash are infected "zombies" connected to high-speed lines. |
it spoofs the sent from e-mail address from addresses it finds on an infected user's system so that it appears it came from you when infact it did not.

you could email them.... (tangent thought) but if they see the subject of "Re: you are sending viruses via email" or whatever it says, maybe they'll think your computer's sending it back to them :P
