It's not an adult site -- it's an information site.

The only thing that make me skeptical about buying information like this is "if you know how to make so much money why are you selling your ideas for 15 bucks" the whole concept does not make sense to me :2 cents:

No matter how I present the information, most people will be skeptical -- but for only $15 I think most people can afford the risk. If $15 is too much for you to risk on usefull information -- maybe I should lower the price further? :) Or maybe you don't need this information?

Besides, I'm hoping that people will read all the text and go with their gut instinct.

Yeah I keep changing that... I kindof like the sailboat idea -- seems to me to represent freedom, relaxation and no bullshit... I made it blurry for the small file size and I figured it seemed like a "dream" that's coming into focus.

I'm not saying it is not worth 15, i would buy it to see what you have to say. People buying information with the idea that the information will make them money just like it made the author money is kinda odd. I could never figure out why someone would spend the time to write the information up into a booklet and sell it for 15-50 bucks if they already made so much money. even if you sold it to 1000 webmasters you would only make 15k. I just dont get it.

On the other hand I think that the site is a strong informational site and you should do well selling the information to people that are just starting on this board and even on Ebay and other places were people have no clue to get this type of information.

I'm not knocking your site, your idea or your price....if anything i would bump the price up some. The people that are going to buy it are going to be from GFY that know who you are because you post alot.

Don't make it to cheap. If you do then it will look like it has no value. It's the perception of value that will make people buy.

There going to look at it and say "well if this really works then why is it selling for only $15? There's no way that it could if it's that cheap"

It's like buying a Rolex for $30 instead $600 bucks. There's just something that doesn't set right about it.

Some people just like to feel good about what they do to the point of "sharing" with others why, in fact, they think they feel good about it. It feeds the fire so to speak. Makes them "truly" feel good to themselves, and that's what REALLY matters right? :thumbsup

Something to keep in mind... your pitch makes it sound like you should be a geek to do this. That may subconsciously limit your market.

Stress that ANYONE can do this from their home... ala Don Lapre. Allude to your system and that THEY can do this too.

A suggestion (ala Marlon Sanders), if I may:

Do up 2 or 3 small "resource packets" consisting of (say) content providers, message boards to network on, places to get site reviews and such. Not too much work to do some small docs that cover specific areas. Then add these as "Free Bonuses" for ordering before midnight of [a php or ssi generated date one day in the future].

I would stress the money, independence and creativity over all that partying with whores at Internext. Perhaps I'm jaded, but that's much less appealing than the $$$. However, the skank-o-rama fantasy aspect may appeal to a certain crowd.

Yeah I might have to throw up some screen shots of my big pimpin... But I'd rather not lead people on that they are going to make a bazillion dollars right away and then blame me... Like anything you get into it what you put into it. It's pretty obvious that I have been in the biz for a while -- here is proof now -- and why would I stay in it this long if I wasn't making a living off of it.

The whole strategy of my information revolves around building sites that will make money for years... getting access to traffic that won't dry up. I focus the information on building sites that don't require upkeep -- so you can build zillions of them and watch the money stack up without worrying about keeping bookmarkers and doing customer service bullshit...

Sure paysites are glamorous and profitable but they are also a pain in the ass. Why do you think I still run freesites after all these years? I like the freedom of freesites -- no contracts -- no angry customers -- so lawsuits -- nobody fucking with me -- period. I can take off for a month like Boneprone and not have to worry about my sites.

I don't have to worry about chargebacks or member retention... I live a simple life and that's the way I like it. I hope that comes through on the site. Simplicity.

Be your own boss. Quit your job. Retire. Simple :)
