Whats the best way to compress an mpg file?
 

I want to take 20 sec mpg's that are 5mbs. I want to compress them to about 1.5 - 2 mb each.

go to vcdhelp.com that will teach you some good shit.

XViD would be the way to get the best quality/size ratio, but most people probably don't have it.

Try a program called StreamAnywhere..it makes asf/wmv's and stuff :)

I want the same quality as that.

Theirs are encoded at 500kbit/sec for video, audio won't make much of a difference for such a small clip. (even somewhat high quality 128-192kbit is only a few kb added to filesize)
