Newbie here needs advice
 

I've been lurking for a while and have learned a lot. So I've got a couple of questions. I just started in tha biz, and I have realistic expectations (not looking to get rich here, just pull in a couple of extra bucks every month). For my first projects, I though I'd promote somebody else sites before I put one together myself. I'm working with yourpaysite.com and these are my sites:

What do you think? Do they have potential?

I started promoting the teen site a week ago and I have almost 1000 hits w/no sign ups. I started promoting the tranny site (just on google adwords) only about 2 days ago and I have 225 hits with no sign ups. I'm putting together my galleries for the other ones now. I haven't yet submitted to the SE, but that's on my list of things to do. How long did it take you to make your first sale? What's a good conversion ratio to shoot for? Am I at least on the right track?

Any advice for this very green newbie would be greatly appreciated!

I am no expert but I can comment from a surfer point of view - the only thing I would say could be done to make them better is to make some of the text/feature lists a little more visible.

Some of the text is very low contrast

Possibly the reason why you're not getting signups is because you have a paysite design that looks like all the other cookie-cutter websites out there.

I think you would make more money in the design business. Very nice work. Go for what you know. :thumbsup

for some reason the enter page look turns me off.... looks to basic, however the sites themself look pretty good.. I like the last design the best..

I agree and furthermore Întrebarea nu este care este mai mare, Biblia sau Traditia. Am vazut ca Traditia include Biblia si se bazeaza pe ea. Adevarata întrebare este cine este mai mare, eu sau Biserica? Protestantul sau neoprotestantul modern este învatat sa interpreteze singur Biblia. ::thumbsup

I wish I could take credit for the design. I'm simply the promoter. They do look like some of the other paysites I have seen, but I've seen some way worse and figured that they can hold their own. I think I'm going to promote trannies the hardest right now, followed by teens. After I get them established I'll work on the other two.

Oh, and I'm planning on changing the front pages, I agree that they are too plain.

One more question--how much are you charging? I have the option to change my membership fees. I can charge anywhere from $19.99 to $39.99. Right now I'm at $19.99 cause I just want someone to join! For those of you with pay sites, how much is it to view y'all's stuff?
