IE freezing/delaying on me

Anyone know what could be causing IE to freeze or delay on me? If I click a link/button or try to scroll, it delays. Aso, if I mouse over text and drag, it delays big time.

Ive had a few issues like this with the new Google Toolbar.....

I have the same problem...seems to be either Google Toolbar or Alexa on me.

I am going to test without those loaded and see how it works.

Had the same problem. Are you running win 98? I took them off and the problem went away. I took my main rig offline too many worms, viruses floating around and I am using a old 500 mhz compaq for the net and email. I forgot how often 98 fucked up lol.

i used to have that issue on xp until i switched to netscape, and now mozilla :thumbsup

anytime you get that slow to respond crap that means you have something running in the background like some sort of spy ware, key stroke logger or some other shit. I had it a few times.

you need Ad Aware or some other spy ware killer.
run a good virus scan too.

if that don't work then its off to the Registry to delete that little bastard that is causing the problem.

takes a little patience but you can get ride of it.

download ad-aware 6 now

i had the same problem, there are some new spywares that slow your IE. When you'll remove them, everything goes back to normal. Adaware now has updates like norton. Everyday new spywares.....
