someone had set something up like this but i can't remember the url at all, just wondering if any programs have actually been checked out with it and what happened etc.

Unless you can access their servers or processor, I doubt it would be possible to build such a program.

You could have one monitor if the numbers change from what they were a day ago (or even 5 minutes ago), but anyone doing shaving properly won't get caught like this. This would only catch those who display the real stats then shave them afterwards.

I may be wrong, but if I am I'm curious to know how ;p

there is a sponsor with no-shave guarantee where you could signup under your own ref code and check stats. They then would refund your money if everything is ok

best way to not give a shit about shaving is buy statsremote test different sponsors and go with the one that send you the biggest cheques..

This can represent a big change in the industry, the sponsors who agree to be audited will get more respect and trust from webmasters.

Unless it's rigged, which it probably will be. Like Green Guy's bullshit sponsor page, programs will pay then get a good review.

This is basicly a verification system that uses a third party or a "trusted arbitrator". However how do we know that the third part i.e "clicktruth" cannot be bought/bribed by those they audit?

One way I can think of creating a trusted arbitrator that can really be trusted is for it to be organized and ran by a syndicate of webmasters rather than one person/company.I think a large number of webmaster need to band together and create something like clicktruth.

The system is set up so that if you want to have your own traffic audited, you can. You don't have to take anyone's word for it.
