At what point is it OK to spam GFY?
So everyday I see traffic, content, and sponsor spams. And it's usually the same damn people day after day. Usually doesn't matter much to me because you can pick up some really sweet deals that way if you keep your eyes open.
At what point can someone spam the board? What kind of deal needs to be on the table? How low does one need to go to spam and get away with it without any heat? |
It's never ok. It just happens and we all deal.

Dean usually has some nice spamples. :)

i dont mind
as long someone doesnt come here just to spam and its a frequently member of the board its all good to me. Actually very often you can see some very good deals going on. Now if you come here just to spam it's different. |
I do it. I try to only hit it once a week, and I always put that it's spam in the subject line.
I also never hit my own threads unless they become a discussion. I also sit on this board most days when I'm working, and join threads of interest, give opinions and advice. I think that goes a long ways. One thing, if someone is going to do that, you'd better have a good rep for your program, or these guys'll kill ya. This is one powerful dam board, and a lot of money can be made here. Adult Site Traffic ICQ me? Click Here or E-mail me Here |
Hit and runs are annoying, what I find is when folks do some business in a thread, others come out and scream SPAM.
If the information is put out personal and not rehearsed, its tolerable and welcomed. Some great things come down if your paying attention. The other philosophy is, as long as folks give something back to the board, they should take as much as they can :-) |
Only when necessary :)

swoit !

What's worse is when threads get hijacked from the certain vultures who spam 24/7.

you must publically sing the spam song at a porn convention before you unleash your program on GFY

i think the nonagreessive kind of spam is ok, if its from someone who interacts with everyone like 3000:1 post to spam ration or 2000:1 IMO....
drivebys are the worst. and spam from shady programs or shady ppl are bad too.... or spams from shit that everyones already seen 'check out my normal affiliate progra, brand new niche --> Teens Amateurs!' -- duh... bad spam swoit is different, had the owner or marketing guy been established on this board it would have been well received (and also if they hadnt spammed ppls inboxes prior to)... anything different i think people WANT to know about.... theres always the one schmuck who will bitch about it, but most ppl surf the boards to see whats going on in our industry, whats cutting edge, whats the new trends, so they can figure out if they wanna get on the coattails, or if tyhey have a new spin they can add to it and rock the boat... and that was my 1 constructive, seriously answered post for the month.... dont expect any more =) |
How many posts do you have and you still haven't figured it out yet?
Let me clue you in. Eric like it when you swallow. 'nuff said. |
