true vegetarians dont eat any meat or animal products..even honey cause its made by bees...i have to say that some of the true vegatarians i have met in my life were a bit unhealthy looking...

For me it is a way of eating healthier rather than something to take seriously.. I am eating dairy products as well like milk, plain yogurt, eggs and fish once in a while but no turkey or chicken at all. It started two yr. ago when I was taking Herbalife products (soy, minerals, vitamins and herbs all in one) after an accident and a surgery and became a new person.
You should ask someone who is really serious about the principles of vegetarianism. I can cook and serve you the best meal still you want... I am never pushy. It works for me, that's all but my motto is tolerance. To live and let live.

True vegans eat no animal or animal product, then some only fish, ect.

I don't think he's talking about the people doing it for "health" reasons or it makes them feel better.

He's talking about the people who do it because eating animals is wrong morally.

I won't eat my dog or the neighbor's cat, that would be wrong morally :) But I am feeling much better and healthier especially when I can get 6-8 hr of sleep.

well, they shouldnt be calling themselves vegetarian i guess, but still the word vegetarian doesnt imply anything about animals. some just try to stay away from red meat for health reasons and maybe call themselves vegetarians

I cannot stand pushy vegetarians....most of them are just the trendy i do yoga this week because Brad and Jen think it's cool types.

I bet a HIGH percentage of vegetarians do not stay vegetarian they are the look at me look at me....see how I live my life different from you and how much better i am because of it.
