Mastercard with Epoch and Jettis

I've seen plenty of information about how CCBill and iBill are dealing with MasterCard's new rules, but I don't recall seeing anything from Epoch or Jettis (nor Probilling or Verotel for that matter). Are they following the same shopping portal model as CCBill and iBill?

Nobody knows anything about this?

Have you seen the addendum you're required to sign to become MasterCard compliant with iBill? It's a complete joke! I'm not going to sign it, I would rather lose the 2 MasterCard sales/year I get with the school than to basically hand over the keys to my checking account. What is becoming of the processing landscape?

Haven't seen anything from Jettis (yet), but they just killed all 2-day trials, switching them over to a mandatory 3 days. I'm probably going to move to another processor pretty soon. I've gotten something like 3 chargebacks in 5 months, they have some nerve doing it (and they didn't even tell me).

hmm, can you elaborate on this statement? we use ccBill exclusively and haven't been asked to sign any sort of addendum, nor asked for any checking account information at all..?

Actually Jettis handles credits really well for us. Never had a chargeback, but a few credits. I am sure with Ibill and their credit policy you would be seeing quite a few CB's.

Epoch is currently suing Mastercard over their business practices and from what I've heard they won't be changing anything until the lawsuit is over. (i.e. if epoch wins the lawsuit it'll be mastercard making changes, not the IPSP's)

This had to do with Ibill...not sure if CCBill is doing something similar. If they are, you'll see what I mean soon enough.

I hope Epoch wins. The abuse we are getting is rediculous, someone needs to stand up for us.

Is that true ? From what I remember (and I might well have forgotten), the lawsuit is about mastercard treating refunds as chargebacks. Nothing to do with this.

I admit to an anti-epoch bias, but what with the 'get out of jail free' card in epassport for their top execs and no attempt to inplement this mastercard 'shopping experience' thing, it kinda looks like this epoch/mastercard court case is a double or quits gamble by epoch.

Any date set for the court case yet ?

Yah, Epoch really needs to win so we can see some good changes.
